HIGH RISK PREGNANCY CARE IN SOUTH DENVER

The majority of our patients have uncomplicated pregnancies and deliveries. However, all of our female OBGYNs are also well-versed in the care of women with high risk pregnancies.

There are several factors that can potentially contribute to a high risk pregnancy, including:

  • Carrying multiple babies

  • Health issues for the mother, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity

  • A maternal age of 35 or older

  • Lifestyle choices such as smoking or drinking alcohol while pregnant

Whether your pregnancy goes off without a hitch or if you have a pregnancy that is considered to be high risk, you can count on us.

A high risk pregnancy may mean that our OB/GYN providers recommend additional ultrasounds or other ways of monitoring your fetus. We may also recommend additional labwork or more frequent visits in our office. Additionally, we often collaborate with our Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians who specialize in high risk pregnancy.

Our female OB/GYNs in Littleton and Lone Tree will help guide you through any complications that might arise, while keeping you informed and at ease each step of the way.
